ELD Devices and Hardware Supported by AI ELD

What you need
to run ai eld

AI ELD works with reliable ELD devices so your trucks can send data to the platform consistently. You can deploy new devices or, in many cases, keep compatible hardware already installed in your fleet.

Standard ELD devices

AI ELD supports Geometris WhereQube as a primary ELD device. This device is designed to provide stable engine, motion and location data to the platform, enabling accurate HOS tracking, diagnostics and reporting. Integration ensures that data flows from the device into the dashboard, logs and reports without manual handling.

Support for Pacific Track 30 and 40

For fleets that already have Pacific Track 30 or Pacific Track 40 devices installed, AI ELD can often connect to those units. This allows many carriers to switch ELD providers without replacing existing hardware across the fleet. Reusing hardware can significantly reduce rollout time, installation effort and capital expense.

How hardware and
AI ELD work together

Devices capture the data required for FMCSA-compliant ELD logs, including engine status and vehicle motion. AI ELD processes that data into logs, dashboards, reports and diagnostic views that different teams can use. Disconnected events or malfunctions are visible inside the platform, and when monitoring is enabled, the AI ELD team helps investigate and resolve these issues quickly.

Room for accessories
and future features

As you add cables or additional accessories, AI ELD is designed to incorporate more sensor data over time. This supports planned features such as advanced geofencing, richer vehicle metrics and extended telematics capabilities as they become available.

Room for Future Accessories and Cables

AI ELD’s hardware strategy is built with flexibility in mind. As fleet needs evolve, the platform allows room for additional accessories, cables, and integrations.

This future-ready approach ensures that fleets can adapt to new vehicle types, regulatory changes, or operational requirements without replacing their entire ELD hardware ecosystem.
FAQ

Hardware FAQ

Do I need new hardware, or can I keep my existing devices?

You can deploy AI ELD with supported new hardware or, if you already use compatible devices such as Pacific Track 30 or 40, you may be able to keep those units and connect them to AI ELD instead of replacing everything.

Which ELD devices does AI ELD support today?

AI ELD supports Geometris WhereQube as a primary device and also supports Pacific Track 30 and 40 for fleets that already have those units installed. Additional hardware support can be added over time.

Can I switch from another ELD provider and keep my Pacific Track hardware?

In many cases, yes. If your fleet uses Pacific Track 30 or 40 with another provider, AI ELD can often connect to those devices and import or continue using their data, reducing the cost and disruption of migration.

How long does ELD hardware installation usually take per truck?

Installation time depends on the vehicle and device, but many fleets complete installation in under an hour per truck with a qualified technician or trained in-house staff. Larger rollouts can be phased to minimize downtime.
